Donation Information
We need large and extra large Men's and Women's winter coats. We can also use boots, socks, gloves and hats.

As little as $5 helps us help others!

100% of the donations to DART go towards food and clothing for the people on the streets of Metropolitan Detroit.

We are a group of people committed to making positive change happen in the lives of those that need it.

There are many fine charitable organizations in our area. That being said, we see "gaps" in coverage everywhere despite their best intentions. Until we no longer see the homeless, hungry, ill-clothed souls on the streets of Southeast Michigan, DART will exist to fill these gaps.

We'll help with food, clothes, shelter and more. Most efforts will be project-based with specific goals to be accomplished. This could be as easy as making brown bag lunches and delivering them to the poor to much more comprehensive efforts.

By joining, you have the ability to join us on any of the rescue missions we run. You may choose none, some or all. There is NO obligation of any kind.

DART was formed in August of 2009 by Steve Barone, CEO of Michigan-based Creative Breakthroughs, Inc.  Steve is the President of the Detroit Area Rescue Team. Amy Oliver, Senior Consultant with Accenture, joined DART in November of 2009 as Vice-President of Operations.

The Board of Directors is in the process of being formed. Members include Steve Barone, Amy Oliver and Dave Glenn.

DART is committed to helping our children understand the importance of community-based, charitable work. A Student Leadership Council is currently being established. Inaugural members include Alyssa Barone and Camara Singleton.
