A quick 2 1/2 hour run downtown to a few key hotspots to drop off clothes for people before the storm hits. This is about coats, hats, gloves, sweaters and socks. 11:30 am - 2:00 pm

WINTER RUN #1 - February 6th, 2010
Notes from our day on the Run: We had a great day in the city of Detroit helping our friends who needed it. We made four major stops and ended up helping over 200 people. We handed out clothes, toiletries and food to a very gracious group of people. Photos from our day are here.
On February 6th, we're going to hit the town to take care of people we see in the streets. We see people in need, we're stopping to talk to them and see how we can help.
4 hours. 10am - 2pm. SUV's and a Van with "DART" branding.
We might help 10 people, we might help 300. Not sure yet. Everything we don't handout will be used again in a few weeks on Winter Run #2.
We need winter clothes, blankets, toothpaste, toothbrushes, hand lotion, water and money.
